John Smith

John Smith, born in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, John’s love for the wild started early — from being an Eco Monitor at school to countless visits to Kruger National Park and Marloth Park. Recycling projects and conservation initiatives were part of everyday life, shaping his deep respect for nature.

He later matriculated at South City Christian College on KZN’s Lower South Coast, where his fascination with insects and small animals grew. Volunteering at the SPCA only strengthened his connection to animal care and community involvement.

John initially studied to become an educator in the Cape, but when Covid shifted his path, he stepped into retail, gaining valuable business experience along the way. He has since completed a certification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management — blending his passion for sustainability with practical operational expertise.

Grounded in conservation and driven by growth, John brings heart, adaptability and a hands-on approach to everything he does.
